Outreach Projects
Seed Packing: Members collect, clean and dry seeds. Then club members meet and package seeds, which are given away for free at community events.

Festival of Trees: Members make ornaments with a gardening/natural theme and decorate a Christmas tree that helps to raise money for the Sierra Vista Hospital Foundation during it's Festival of Trees each Holiday Season. Fry Cemetary: Member Carl Hobe, along with Sierra Vista Historians and city workers, and members of the Boy Scouts are working to restore the Fry Cemetary to a more beautiful and identifiable destination. Earth Day Celebration: Members volunteer to man a tent at The Sierra Vista Earth Day Celebration at the Sierra Vista Farmer's Market. This event is held the weekend closest to Earth Day each year. Members pass out free seeds to the community as well as club membership flyers. They also are available to answer gardening questions.
